Growing up with the brilliant vistas and cultural depth of Stellenbosch, South Africa, instilled in me a love for art, expression and personal connections between people. From generational Vineyards to Coastal Cottages, every detail has a story to tell; my love is to capture your moments and preserve your story.

My photography journey started with the pursuit of black and white film photography alongside countless hours developing in the dark room. My interests were built on Fine Art prints and Abstract works mixed
with portraiture.
My journey was further cultivated whilst attending PJ Olivier Art Institute which had me observe diverse mediums of art while studying the masters. As time continued, I was more and more driven towards documenting moments filled with a sense of value and meaning. Over time, naturally, led to my role as a wedding photographer.
I continue to draw inspiration from all aspect of art and my endless passion for authentic emotions between people.

Being a wedding photographer goes beyond simply taking photos.
My whole life I've been drawn to exploring the unknown.
More often this directed me to the stories hidden by "insignificant moments", the details easily missed. Photography has allowed me to document these details and elevate these moments; allowing a story to be drawn.
As my vision directed towards the role of a Wedding Photographer, I found a career that is bountiful in moments with immense value. Not only does this allow me to see beauty unfold before me, but I get to share it with others who will cherish it indefinitely.

My approach has never been creating something clinical or isolated. I believe in observing what is present, thereafter pulling it together in a presentable artistic nature.
Therefore, my highest goal is connecting with you, and keeping you present in your own story.

Authentic imagery requires authentic moments. The most beautiful thing you can do, is live in the story you’re trying to tell.

The art of storytelling is always refining itself. Needless to say, I'm continually enriching and refining my craft as a Charlotte wedding photographer.

Adopting trends that don't align with who you are.
Authenticity is king in making moments beautiful.
I'm not going to force moments or reactions that aren't already present.
